Guilt-Free Nutella Milkshake
With the weather getting warmer, we find ourselves ditching the kettle and reaching for the iced drinks. But all this beautiful weather doesn't have to stop you from nourishing your body with a daily dose of dark chocolate.
Here's a take on one of my favourite recipes, Nutella hot chocolate, summer version! This is super easy to make, and can be adapted to what you have in the house.
Ingredients (serves 1)
15g of 80NoirUltra Beads, or 1 mini bar
175mls of no added sugar hazelnut milk, or milk of choice
Ice (fill the glass you are using to measure)
Extra chocolate for shavings (optional)
A few mls of hot water
A blender (optional)
Blender Version - Method
- Start by adding your chocolate to a heat safe drinking glass, and pour over a little splash of hot (not boiling) water, stir until the chocolate melts and creates a paste.
- Spoon your melted chocolate in a blender with the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend on a medium speed until the ice is fully blended and the liquid is a smooth consistency
- Tip: For a sweeter version, add a little vanilla extract
- Pour back into your glass, and enjoy!
No Blender Version - Method
- Start by adding your chocolate to a heat safe drinking glass, and pour over a little splash of hot (not boiling) water, stir until the chocolate melts and creates a paste.
- Pour your milk of choice over the melted chocolate and stir well until combined, this works best with an electric whisk.
- Once fully combined, top with ice, and chocolate shavings.
- Tip: For a sweeter version, add a little vanilla extract
